Record Attendance expected for Security Canada 2008
January 2008 (Markham, Ontario) - The Canadian Security Association (CANASA) expects record attendance at each of its four Security Canada International Security Conferences & Expositions in 2008 held across Canada. Propelled by a record numbers of “buyers” on the show floor, attendance at last year’s Security Canada 2007 shows surpassed the 3300 mark.
Attendance figures for “total buyers,” “total suppliers,” and overall “total attendance” were all up significantly over the 2006 figures. The Security Canada Shows took place in Montreal, Quebec; Richmond, British Columbia; Moncton, New Brunswick and Toronto, Ontario.
Security Canada is the recognized leading security industry event with a strong and growing reputation. Positive word of mouth from past attendees and recognition as the number-one shows in the country in terms of attendees who have buying influence helps to attract first-time attendees. Every Security Canada Show is in a different geographical area in Canada so there is virtually no overlap in attendance – more attendees – more buyers. Although the Atlantic Canada show is relatively small at a distant location for many, it does attract the key industry decision-makers from Atlantic Provinces and seaboard communities.
