CANASA Session #2
Marketing on a Shoestring (a growth guide for tough economic times)
Presented by Mike Hayes - Vice President, Marketing, Safe Harbour Security

Moderated Panel Discussion

Business conditions are tough out there, but the marketing experts will tell you that now is the best time to grow your business.  If your competitor’s are putting the brakes on their own business growth and cutting back on marketing, it might just be making it easier for you to woo their customers to your business now.  Strange, but true - it is the least expensive time to build market share.  As Henry Ford said, “It has been my observation that most people get ahead during the time that others waste.”

We’ve brought together some marketing experts from outside of the security industry to brainstorm and share ideas on how to grow your business with some simple marketing tools.  Through a Q&A format they will dive deep into such topics as creating ‘buzz’, guerrilla marketing, differentiation, and a favourite, ‘how to spend your money wisely’.  Most of our panel members normally charge for their ideas, but anything that comes up in this session is free!
